Well it took us over 6 months to get out and explore what everyone raves about here...the North Shore of Lake Superior. We took a weekend and rented a cabin on the water. We went hiking, checked out some waterfalls, visited Split Rock Lighthouse and enjoyed a bonfire on the shore at our cabin. It's so beautiful and peaceful up there and we can't believe it took so long for us to do this! Here are a couple of shots from the trip.

A New Downstairs Bathroom

As part of the flooring project, we redid the downstairs half-bath. It makes such a huge difference and is so much better from where we started. Here are the before and after shots.

The Monster Flooring Project is Done!

After more than a month of having the house ripped up and being inconvenienced, but got the entry way and kitchen flooring complete. It was definitely worth it, but we questioned that at some points along the way!

Jason's New Toy

Well Minneapolis isn't like Idaho for motorcycle riding. So, Jason traded in the Harley for his life-long dream...a Porsche. We stumbled upon this when looking at cars one day and it was just fate. We happened to be at the dealership exactly when someone was trading in this 1990 Porsche Carrera convertible. Jason fell in love and it was a done deal!
